Robert Kubica: Electric racing and the scent of gasoline

In 2021, Robert Kubica finally ended his career in Formula 1, switching to "long" races. This season, he won the title of champion in the LMP2 WEC marathon series and is preparing for a new stage in 2024 with participation in the Ferrari hypercar.

Kubica, who became a guest of the Gurulandia podcast, shared his opinion about electric racing. Despite invitations to this class, he remains devoted to the gasoline roar and the aroma of hot asphalt. "A racing car should be loud. Racing without roaring is like using an inflatable doll," Kubica said.

But besides preferring classic motorsport attributes, Kubica has important plans for hypercars. In 2024, he will join the Ferrari racing team, taking to the track in a Ferrari 499P hypercar. Teammates have not yet been revealed, creating intrigue around who will join the Polish rider at this exciting stage.

Thus, Robert Kubica continues his unique path in the world of motorsport, combining experience in Formula 1, a love of classic racing aspects, and new challenges in hypercars, where he is going to continue to write his racing legend.
